BOLLYWOOD CULT MOVIES YOU WONT BELIEVE WERE FAILED AT THE BOX OFFICE

                                 Many of us love watching movies and are movie lovers but many movies that are treat to watch and are truly movie gem which goes completely unrecognized and further lead to failure. The reason for these movies getting unrecognized is because these movies are way ahead of their time and are not well marketed. Due to this many producers does not invest in this type of projects. 
                                 Here are some of the movie gems which got tanked at the box office but made a  cult   status over the years and many will enjoy watching these movies.


1. SWADES :-

                        Swades is a 2004 hindi film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Gayatri Joshi in lead roles along and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The movie shows a story of Mohan Bhargava who works in NASA as a project manager which is based in USA. He takes leave from his work to visit his nanny Kaveri Amma who took care for him after his parents died. He then visited to India to take his nanny with him to USA. After visiting India he got to know some serious social issue from the village he visited. Kaveri Amma denies to go with him as she could not settle in the new country and then Mohan flies back to USA. After some time he gets flashback of his country and decides to move to India and leave his job in NASA. 
                           This is one of the beautiful film of 2000s but was tanked at the box office because of being ahead of its time. This movie gained a cult status over the time.





2. LAKSHYA :-

                           Lakshya is 2004 coming of age film directed by Farhan Akhtar and starring Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. This movie tells u the story of a clueless boy to choose his career and ended up getting to the Indain army. This movie was flop at the box office but critically appreciated and became a cult movie. This one is a true movie gem and is appreciated now by the audience.




3. ANDAZ APNA APNA :-

                                              This is an 1994 comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor in lead roles. This movie is for hardcore comedy movie lovers as every scene in the film will fill you with laughter and every character is amazing in the film. Many dialogues, scenes are popular from this movie but when the movie was released it was a flop at the box office because of its poor marketing. This movie is a treat to watch.




4. AGNEEPATH :-

                                 Agneepath is an 1990 crime drama film directed by Mukul Anand and stars Amitabh Bachchan in lead role along with Mithun Chakrabroty, Neelam Kothari and Danny Denzongpa. It tells the story of a son of a school headmaster who was killed by villagers because of a plan set up by a gangster Kancha Cheena. Deenanath Chavan played by Amitabh Bachchan takes revenge from Kancha Cheena and cleans his father's name in village created by the antagonist Kancha Cheena. This movie will keep you engaged through out its running time. Amitabh Bachchan won National Film award for the best actor for his performance in this film. This film was again remade in 2012 starring Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles. This movie was failed at the box office but loved by audience after sometime which made it a cult classic movie.




5. ROCKET SINGH : SALES MAN OF THE YEAR :-

                                              This is an 2009 film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Gauhar Khan, Naveen Kaushik in lead roles and is directed by Shimit Amin. This one is for business movie lovers. This was an experimental film for Ranbir Kapoor as he was seen in the sardar getup. This movie was also poorly marketed and went on to become a flop despite being a good movie. This movie will not bore you through its running minutes.




                       So this was the list of Bollywood cult movies which was tanked at the box office but was appreciated over the time. These are highly recommended movie to watch if you have'nt watched it yet.

KHATRON KE KHILADI SEASON 10 WINNER

The most popular Indian reality stunt show Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 10 which was hosted by famous director and producer Rohit Shetty telecast on Colors TV. Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 10 was in the top list TRP on television. It was premiered on 22 February 2020. The stunt was shooted in the beautiful place Bulgaria, an emerging tourist destination.
